VIBRAPHONES

The first vibraphones were manufactured in the U.S. in the 1920s, having similar characteristics to marimba and xylophone. Differs from them in their aluminum alloy bars, the use of a damper pedal and use a amplitude of variation based system with rotating discs on the resonators tubes driven by a small motor.
